(1) Chimay Grande Réserve Barrel Aged -  Oak 375ML (Not 750ML)

This 2019 vintage beer has a woody aroma with a few mild notes of vanilla. It also reveals ester aromas (banana, pear, apricot).

To the palate, it is a rounded, creamy beer. Amongst its sweet and roasted accents, it shows perfect balance, despite a higher alcohol content than its predecessor. Its refined sparkling properties add the finishing touch to the unique character of an exceptional product.

Mild Stout: A hybrid of a Belgian Dubble and an Irish stout. Robust notes of chocolate and raisin with a trademark Belgian sweetness. 8.2% ABV

(1) Poperings Hommel Bier 750ML

Belgian Strong Golden Ale: The Hommel Ale is so unique that it has gained a large international customer base. Its best characteristic is the high bitterness, created by the use of very high quantities of the local hops. The re-fermentation in the bottle adds an extra dimension to the beer, and you, the consumer, discovers a very round mouth-feel, a full bodied and flowery aroma, with an alcohol strength of 7.5% ABV

Triple Ale: This is the house beer for the famous pub in Brugges under the same name, De Garre! The pub is well concealed down a long alley where only beer lovers in search of this gem can successfully find it. This Belgian triple packs a big punch at 11% ABV. For this reason the pub owner will only allow any one visitor to order three during a sitting at this historic pub. 11% ABV

(1) Scotch De Silly Chardonnay Barrel Aged 750ML

Each year brasserie de silly takes their famous Scotch Silly brand and ages it in a different style barrel. 2018 features scotch silly aged in Chardonnay barrels. This deep dark colored Scotch ale is a perfect blend of caramelized malt and candied sugar from the mother beer. The aroma coming from the Chardonnay barrel produces a unique yet subtle flavor.

(1) Petrus Aged Pale Ale 330ML

Aged? Many beers have a long maturation, but this one has only 24-36 months in oak barrels.

Pale? This beer has an old gold to bronze color, rather than the burgundy more common in the breweries of West Flanders.  This is the ‘mother beer,’ used in various quantities to blend with the other Petrus beers, and to give them their unique and very distinctive taste.  This mother beer is rather sour with a bite like the best Brut Champagnes.  A connoisseur’s delight!  The only one of its kind on the U.S. market. 5 out of 5 on the Sour Scale!
