Batch 2 of the annual cask strength releases offers a whole new perspective on Lochlea.
Following on from our award-winning Cask Strength Batch 1 selling out last year, we are delighted to announce that Lochlea Cask Strength Batch 2 here! This one is bottled at 60% and matured in a combination of three different cask types: 60% PX Sherry, 28% Oloroso Sherry, 12% STR and as always without colouring or chill-filtration. Whereas last year’s release was mainly first-fill bourbon, John has gone for a heavy sherry cask presence giving Batch 2 a bolder weightier profile
