Thus begins "To a Mouse", a famous poem penned in 1785 by Robert Burns about a timid, little field mouse. Famous Scottish bottler, Douglas Laing, now pays a tribute to Burns and his feral friend, with a marriage of fine Scotch malts from Dalmore, Glengoyne and Glen Garioch distilleries. Bottled at a bold 46.8% ABV, with notes of spice and honey, there is certainly nothing timid about this beast though. Hard to find in the US, this is one to treasure.
