As a craft distiller, Firestone & Robertson Distilling Co. set out to create an American blended whiskey that would rival the best Scottish, Irish and Canadian blends. They spent over two years sampling an enormous number of whiskeys, determining the characteristics of their favorites, and then experimenting with different combinations to capture an even better, more robust flavor.
They finally settled on the perfect recipe: An extraordinarily complex spectrum of fragrance and flavor that mixes well or stands alone on the rocks or neat. TX Blended Whiskey is a proprietary masterpiece they are incredibly proud of. It was a tough job. But someone had to do it.
Color: Auburn
Nose: Vanilla bean, pear, slightly sweet
Taste: Honey butter, banana, caramel
Finish: Long, smooth, no burn

Thirty-four international spirits experts with the finest palates convened at the elegant Hotel Nikko in San Francisco from March 21-24, 2013 to judge the 13th Annual World Spirits Competition. Distillers and importers submitted 1,407 spirits from 63 countries into 85 different classifications.
North Texas’ premier whiskey distillery, Firestone & Robertson Distilling Co., was proud to take home the “Best American Craft Whiskey” award for its TX Blended Whiskey, along with a “Double Gold” award.
